Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a system for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. Osteopaths looks at the relationship between the structure of your body and how well it functions. Your health and well-being depends on your body’s joints, with their associated tissues (muscles, tendons, nerves and blood vessels) working smoothly together and supporting each other in good health.
Osteopathy is also a philosophy of health. A key principle in osteopathy is that our bodies have the in-built potential to heal. Osteopaths work with their patients as individuals to remove blocks to healing and restore their body’s ability to heal itself. Treatment is often a combination of manual therapy to improve the mobility and tissue health of your joints and muscles with advice on pain relief and any other factors that might be contributing to your problem.
